Florida Police Arrest Woman for Labor Trafficking and Smuggling Minors

Palm Beach, FL – In a major breakthrough during Human Trafficking Awareness Month, detectives from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office have arrested Miriam Lopez Mackler on serious charges related to human trafficking. Mackler faces two counts each of Labor Trafficking (Minors) and Smuggling (Minors).

Currently, Mackler is being held in Palm Beach County Jail without bond. This arrest marks a significant achievement in the ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking in the area. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has reaffirmed its commitment to ending this criminal activity in the county.
