Two People Shot in Paterson

PATERSON, NJ – A shooting incident occurred in Paterson early on the morning of Monday, according to the Paterson Police Department.

At approximately 12:45 a.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of East Main Street and Hillman Street following reports of gunfire.

Upon arrival, police discovered two male victims, aged 18 and 30, both residents of Paterson.

Both individuals sustained gunshot wounds and were immediately transported to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in Paterson. The injuries were described as non-fatal.

Paterson Police successfully located a potential crime scene in the vicinity of the incident. The investigation into the shooting is currently active and ongoing, with no further details released at this stage.
