Drunk Driver Slams NYC School Bus With 35 Children After Crashing into Ambulance

NEW YORK CITY, NY – Joseph Saladino, a 43-year-old New York resident, was recently apprehended following two vehicle collisions, including one with a school bus.

The incidents occurred on Tuesday, with Saladino now facing multiple charges.

Initially, Saladino hit an ambulance transporting a patient and fled the scene. Later, he collided with a school bus carrying 35 children.

Remarkably, there were no injuries reported among the children. Saladino, disoriented, was found at the second crash scene.

Charges against Saladino include DUI with property damage, leaving the scene of a crash, and leaving the scene of a crash with injuries. He has been taken to the Martin County Jail. The bus driver, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was treated and released from the hospital.
