Man Robbed Inside NYC Subway Station

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking public assistance to identify two individuals involved in a robbery. The incident occurred on Wednesday, at approximately 8:10 am, at the Prospect Avenue subway station.

A 75-year-old male victim, attempting to purchase a MetroCard, was approached by two unknown individuals. The duo blocked and physically restrained the victim, forcibly removing his wallet before fleeing on foot. The victim refused medical treatment at the scene.

The first individual is described as a 40-year-old male with a light complexion, last seen wearing a green face mask, black coat, black pants, and multi-colored sneakers.

The second individual, a female with a medium complexion, was wearing dark-colored clothing and gray sneakers. Images of the suspects are available through the NYPD’s DCPI.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline or submit tips online.
