Stolen Vehicle in Annapolis Recovered Hours Later in Glen Burnie

Annapolis, MD – A vehicle theft that took place on the evening of Thursday, February 1, led to a swift police response in Annapolis, with the vehicle being recovered in the early hours of the following morning in Glen Burnie. The incident began around 9 p.m. on the unit block of Main Street when officers were alerted to the theft of a black 2018 Hyundai Sonata, bearing New Jersey license plates.

The vehicle’s owner reported that they had left the car running and unsecured while quickly picking up a food delivery order. Within a mere ten minutes, the vehicle was stolen. Authorities were notified, and the vehicle was officially reported as stolen.

At approximately 3:30 a.m., Anne Arundel County Police found the vehicle abandoned in Glen Burnie. The car was towed for safekeeping, and the owner was promptly notified of the recovery.
