Akron Police Searching for Suspects in McDonald’s Armed Heist

AKRON, OH – The Akron Police Department (APD) is seeking assistance in identifying a suspect involved in an aggravated robbery early on Saturday morning at the McDonald’s on 946 E. Waterloo Road.

Around 12:30 a.m., the suspect reportedly pointed a gun at an employee, demanding money from the safe.

He then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount.

The APD has released an image of the suspect and warns the public to consider them armed and dangerous.

Citizens with any information about this crime are asked to contact the Akron Police Detective Bureau, the APD Tip Line, or the Summit County Crimestoppers.
