Roselle Driver Arrested for DWI Near Centennial Avenue

ROSELLE, NJ – Wesley Wade, a 27-year-old resident of Roselle, was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI) in the early hours of January 27.

The arrest occurred near Centennial Avenue at Raritan Road. Patrolman Ryan Drew responded to the scene at approximately 03:26 AM following a report of a driver asleep behind the wheel.

Officer Drew located a 2017 Mazda obstructing traffic, with Wade asleep in the driver’s seat. After an investigation, Wade was arrested for DWI.

He was processed and given a Municipal Court appearance date. Additionally, Wade received summonses for reckless driving, delaying traffic, and refusal to submit breath samples.

The Roselle Police Department continues to emphasize the importance of road safety and the dangers of driving under the influence. Motorists are reminded to always drive responsibly and adhere to traffic regulations.
