Woman, 27, Identified as Murder Victim in Somerville

SOMERVILLE, N.J. – Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald, along with local law enforcement, has identified the victim of a homicide in Somerville as Mary Rose Fealey, 27.

On Tuesday, at approximately 10:20 p.m., Somerville Police responded to a 9-1-1 call about an unresponsive woman on North Bridge Street.

Fealey was found with multiple stab wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from various units are investigating the homicide, with the Medical Examiner’s Office ruling the death a homicide caused by multiple stab wounds.

No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing. Detectives are seeking information about suspicious activities in the area on the night of the incident and assure confidentiality to tipsters.
