Police Identify Man Shot and Killed on Union Street in Brooklyn

Brooklyn, NY – A tragic incident unfolded on Wednesday, January 31, when police responded to reports of gunfire at the intersection of Union Street and Utica Avenue in the 71st Precinct area.

Upon their arrival at approximately 6:19 PM, officers discovered a 23-year-old male, later identified as Kereem Morgan of 1209 Saint Johns Place, Brooklyn, NY, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Emergency services transported Morgan to NYC Health and Hospitals/Kings County, where he was pronounced dead. As of now, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, and the investigation is actively continuing.
