Armed Home Invasion Robbery Under Investigation in Dover

Dover, DE – Delaware State Police are currently investigating a home invasion robbery that took place on the night of February 4, in the city of Dover. According to reports, troopers were dispatched to a residence on Vanessa Drive at around 11:00 p.m. following reports of the incident.

Initial findings from the investigation indicate that two male suspects, one described as white and the other as black, both wearing dark-colored clothing and face masks, forcibly entered a home occupied by three adults and four children. Upon confrontation, the suspects demanded money from the occupants, with one of the assailants brandishing a firearm to enforce their demands. The victims complied, resulting in the suspects fleeing the scene with an undisclosed sum of cash and various items of property.
