Cell Phone Snatched from Woman by Scooter-Riding Thieves

Bronx, NY – The NYPD reports that a 25-year-old woman fell victim to a cell phone snatching while walking on the streets of the Bronx by scooter-bound thieves. The crime occurred in the vicinity of Morris Avenue and East 161 Street on Monday night, just before 11:40 PM.

According to police reports, two unidentified perpetrators on a two-wheeled scooter approached the woman. As they drove past her, one of the individuals reached out and forcefully took the cell phone from her hand. Following the theft, the suspects made a quick escape, heading northbound on Morris Avenue on their scooter.

Fortunately, the victim did not suffer any physical injuries during the ordeal. Authorities are currently seeking any information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspects involved in this bold nighttime robbery.
