Dean Leon Guilty by Jury on All Charges in Indecent Assault Against Stepdaughter

CUMBERLAND COUNTY, PA – Dean Leon was found guilty on January 31, by a Cumberland County jury on multiple charges involving a minor.

The charges include Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse of a Child Under 16, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Indecent Assault, and Corruption of Minors.

The conviction followed a two-day trial, with testimony from the victim detailing several incidents of abuse. Arrested in New Jersey, Leon had made incriminating statements and was found to possess explicit images of his stepdaughter on his phone.

Fingerprints on one image were matched to Leon, further solidifying the case.

Det. Sgt. Adam Shope and retired Det. Donald Rynard of the East Pennsboro Township Police, and Det. Peter Burns of the Somers Point Police Department were instrumental in the investigation.
