Newark Police Continue Search for Man Missing Since November

Newark, NJ – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Quasim Rooks, a 23-year-old resident of Newark, reported missing since November 19, 2023. Last seen on the 200 block of Clifton Avenue, Rooks was wearing a Nike jacket, blue jeans, and black ACG Nike boots. He is described as 5’9” tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair, and a brown skin complexion.

Director Fragé urges anyone with information about Rooks’ whereabouts to contact the Newark Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All tips provided to Crime Stoppers will be kept confidential and may be eligible for a reward. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through the Police Division’s website at https://npd.newarkpublicsafety.org.
