Perth Amboy Welcomes 13 New Firefighter Recruits

Perth Amboy, NJ – The Perth Amboy Fire Department proudly announced the appointment of 13 recruit firefighters this week, a significant addition aimed at strengthening the city’s emergency response capabilities. Under the guidance of the Training Division, these new members will undergo comprehensive training, encompassing pre-academy physical fitness, classroom education, and hands-on skills training. This rigorous preparation is designed to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills before their formal training at the Fire Academy, which commences on February 20th.
