Autistic Florida Teen Went to School and Hasn’t Been Seen Since

Deltona, FL – The Volusia Sheriff’s Office is currently conducting an extensive search for 16-year-old Michael Reed, who has been reported missing in Deltona, Florida. Authorities confirmed that Reed did not board his usual bus home from Pine Ridge High School today and has not been seen since.

In an effort to locate Reed, the Sheriff’s Office has deployed numerous units, including the Air One helicopter, to search the area. Despite these efforts, Reed remains missing.

Michael Reed is described as having autism, which adds urgency to the search. When last seen, he was wearing blue gym shorts and a dark blue sweater, and carrying a Pine Ridge backpack.

The Volusia Sheriff’s Office urges anyone with information about Michael Reed’s whereabouts to immediately contact 911. The community’s assistance is critical in ensuring Reed’s safe return.
