Elderly Man Robbed at Gunpoint Inside NYC Apartment Building

New York, NY – A terrifying encounter unfolded inside an apartment building at 1390 5th Avenue on Friday, January 12 inside a New York City apartment building as an elderly man was robbed at gunpoint.

At around 6:45 PM, a 73-year-old man was confronted by two unidentified males, one of whom brandished a firearm during the robbery. The assailants forcibly took the victim’s wallet, cellphone, and approximately $1,700 in cash before fleeing the scene on foot to an unknown location.

No injuries were reported. The police are actively searching for the two suspects involved in this armed robbery.
