Juvenile Shot and Killed on Market Street Friday Night

Harrisburg, PA – A juvenile male victim died from gunshot wounds following an incident on the 1800 block of Market Street, as reported by Harrisburg Police. The shooting occurred around 10:15 p.m. on Friday.

Responding to a report of gunfire with a person struck, police officers discovered the young victim with a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for emergency care but succumbed to his injuries.

No suspects have been identified and no arrests have been made.

An immediate investigation was launched into the circumstances surrounding the shooting, which remains active. Harrisburg Police are urging anyone with information about this tragic incident to come forward and contact them at 717-558-6900.
