NYPD Manhunt for Suspect in Subway Sexual Assault Incident

New York, NY – Authorities are actively searching for a suspect involved in a sexual assault incident that occurred on a southbound “2” train near the 116 Street subway station. The incident, reported to have taken place on Saturday at approximately 4:05 PM, involved a 21-year-old female victim who was approached and assaulted by an unidentified male.

According to police reports, the suspect made unwelcome physical contact with the victim by grabbing her buttocks. Following the assault, the individual was last observed inside the Times Square-42 Street subway station. Despite the distressing nature of the event, the victim did not sustain physical injuries.

The suspect is described as a male, around 6 feet tall, with a medium complexion and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a green jacket, blue jeans, and green sneakers.
