Fort Lee Police Issue Guidelines Ahead of Winter Storm Warning

Fort Lee, NJ – The Fort Lee Police Department alerts residents to a Winter Storm Warning effective from 1:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, following advisories from the Office of Emergency Management regarding the impending storm.

Residents are reminded to adhere to Fort Lee Borough Ordinance 388-37, which prohibits parking on streets designated “no parking when road is snow covered.” This ordinance will be strictly enforced to facilitate snow removal efforts. The department also reminds residents of Ordinance 360-2, which bans the depositing of snow and ice on streets or sidewalks, emphasizing the importance of keeping these areas clear for public safety.

For those without off-street parking, the Fort Lee Parking Authority is offering free parking in municipal lots (with the exception of the Guntzer Street lot) during the storm.
