Holmdel, NJ – The Holmdel Township Police Department is urging residents to prepare for upcoming snowfall by clearing their vehicles of ice and snow thoroughly before driving. This reminder includes the often-overlooked vehicle roofs, where flying snow and ice pose a risk to surrounding traffic.

In addition to personal vehicle care, the department reminds the community of Township Ordinance 7-7.3, which prohibits street parking during snow coverage. This measure ensures that snowplows can effectively clear the roads. Motorists are advised to comply to facilitate safe and efficient snow removal efforts.
