Amber Alert Issued for Missing Boy in Columbus, Foster Mom

Columbus, OH – The Columbus Division of Police is urgently requesting the public’s assistance in locating 5-year-old Darnell Taylor, who was reported missing early this morning from the 900 block of Reeb Avenue.

The police were alerted to the situation shortly after 3 a.m. by a caller who expressed concern for the welfare of their foster child, Darnell, following alarming statements made by 48-year-old Pammy Maye. According to the caller, Maye left the residence abruptly in a 2015 Jeep Cherokee.

Although the vehicle was located in Brooklyn, Ohio, before 6 a.m., neither Maye nor Darnell has been found. The Columbus Division of Police is appealing to anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Pammy Maye or Darnell Taylor to immediately call 911.
