Columbus Police Continue Search for Missing Child and Foster Mother, Car Found Abandoned

Columbus, OH – The Columbus Division of Police is seeking the public’s help in locating 5-year-old Darnell Taylor, who went missing early this morning under concerning circumstances.

Officers responded to a call at the 900 block of Reeb Ave shortly after 3:00 a.m., where the foster father expressed concern for Darnell’s well-being following alarming statements by 48-year-old Pammy Maye. Maye, who left the scene in a 2015 Jeep Cherokee, was last seen wearing a green floral nightgown and pink shoes, while Darnell is believed to have been wearing Spiderman pajamas and white boots.

The vehicle was found in Brooklyn, Ohio, just before 6:00 a.m., but both Maye and Darnell remain missing.

The community’s assistance is vital in ensuring the safety and swift location of Darnell Taylor and Pammy Maye.
