Man Slashed in Neck at Queens Plaza Subway Station

New York, NY – A violent assault left a man with a slashed neck at the Queens Plaza subway station after an unprovoked attack.

The attack unfolded on Thursday at around 10:25 AM, when a 29-year-old man on the mezzanine level of the station, serving the “E, M, R” lines, was unexpectedly slashed from behind by an unidentified assailant. The attacker then disappeared from the scene.

The victim was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where he was listed in stable condition. The police are actively searching for the suspect, who is described as a male with a medium complexion, last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black vest. The public is urged to provide any relevant information to assist in the capture of the assailant.
