Fatal Stabbing in Brooklyn Leaves 61-Year-Old Man Dead

Brooklyn, NY – A 61-year-old man was fatally stabbed in Brooklyn, marking a tragic event in the city’s recent crime reports.

On Saturday, at approximately 1:08 AM, police were called to the scene of an assault in progress at 140 Graham Avenue, located in the 90 Precinct of Brooklyn. Upon their arrival, they discovered Laurence Hopkins, a 61-year-old man, suffering from a stab wound to the neck.

Emergency Medical Services were promptly dispatched to the scene, where they transported Hopkins to NYC Health and Hospitals/Woodhull. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, Hopkins was pronounced dead upon arrival. Hopkins resided at 997 Dekalb Avenue in Brooklyn, NY.

Currently, no arrests have been made in connection to the stabbing, and the investigation is actively ongoing.
