Newark Girl, 12, Missing for Nearly One Week According to Police

Newark, NJ – The Newark Department of Public Safety is seeking the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Samiiyah Lopez-McMillan, who has been reported missing as of February 22,.

Samiiyah was last seen near the 90 block of Fabyan Place on February 16. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing black jeans and a grey jacket. Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is calling on anyone with information regarding Samiiyah’s current location to come forward.

The Newark Police Division has made available a 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line for anyone who might have insights into Samiiyah’s whereabouts. The community is urged to contact 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477) with any relevant information that could aid in safely locating Samiiyah Lopez-McMillan.
