Teen Attacked and Robbed on Chicago Train

Chicago, IL – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying suspects involved in a robbery on the Red Line at the 79th Street stop.

On February 18, at approximately 7:15 p.m., a 19-year-old male was attacked and robbed by several individuals while on the train at the 0-100 block of W. 79th St. The victim was physically assaulted before having his personal belongings forcibly taken.

The suspects are described as African American males, aged between 22 to 30, and a white female, aged between 19 to 23. The Chicago Police Department’s Mass Transit Detectives are urging anyone with information to come forward and contact the Bureau of Detectives – Mass Transit Section at (312) 745-4706.
