BEAR, DE – Delaware State Police have taken 48-year-old Leon Wilson of Bear, Delaware, into custody on multiple felony drug charges. This arrest came as a result of executing search warrants at two motels in the Bear area yesterday morning.

On February 28, at approximately 10:45 a.m., members of the Troop 2 Drug Unit and Troop 2 Patrol conducted searches at the West Motel and the Afton Motel, both located on Pulaski Highway in Bear. These actions were part of a month-long drug investigation targeting Wilson for his alleged involvement in drug trafficking. Notably, during the search of Wilson’s room at the West Motel, an unattended infant was found in the premises.

The operation led to the seizure of various illegal substances, including about 12.2 grams of methamphetamine, 54 bags of heroin weighing roughly .378 grams, around 3.6 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 90 grams of marijuana, and digital scales used for drug distribution.
