Glen Burnie Man Arrested with Cocaine and Heroin/Fentanyl After Foot Pursuit

GLEN BURNIE, MD – A routine patrol led to the arrest of Ervin Demontray Montague, a 37-year-old resident of Glen Burnie, Maryland, on the evening of February 26.

At around 9:55 p.m., detectives in the area of Faywood Avenue recognized Montague and knew him to have an outstanding arrest warrant. As they approached, Montague attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended following a brief chase.

Upon his arrest, Montague was found to have a significant quantity of illegal substances. Authorities discovered 33 baggies containing approximately 14.31 grams of suspected cocaine alongside one gel capsule weighing about .81 grams of a substance believed to be a mix of Heroin and Fentanyl, in addition to materials used for drug packaging.
