New Jersey’s Pick-6 Jackpot Soars to Over $24 Million

Mega Millions lottery jackpot winning ticket sold in Maine

Trenton, NJ – The Pick-6 jackpot has escalated to $24.2 million, setting a record as the highest jackpot since August 2023. New Jersey Lottery Executive Director James A. Carey is calling on players to take advantage of this unprecedented opportunity. The jackpot is currently the most substantial prize exclusively available to New Jersey’s residents, emphasizing the possibility of winning big with just one ticket purchase.

The jackpot was last claimed on September 11, 2023, with the winning amount at $2.7 million. Carey is keen to remind participants that the lottery serves as entertainment and underscores the necessity of playing responsibly.

A notable highlight is that the forthcoming Pick-6 drawing is slated for Leap Day, February 29, which is a seldom occurrence. Since the inception of bi-weekly drawings in 1986, there have been only three instances of Leap Day drawings. The imminent drawing will be the fourth, offering a distinctive element to this thrilling event.
