Unlicensed Driver Arrested After Speeding Past School Bus in Martin County

In Martin County, FL, Jannier Alexander Pina Barboza became the 140th individual this year to be charged with driving without a license. Barboza was apprehended after he was caught driving over 70 miles per hour in a 45 MPH zone, dangerously close to children waiting for a school bus on US 1.

The 26-year-old was stopped by deputies this morning and could only provide a notice to appear issued by the Department of Homeland Security as identification. Barboza admitted to not possessing a Florida Driver License, stating he has never had one.

This incident highlights a growing concern in Martin County, as Barboza is among 140 individuals charged with driving without a license in less than two months.
