Caller Threatened to ‘Shoot Everyone’ at Maryland State House

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND — A potential crisis was averted at the State House when an unidentified male threatened violence. The Annapolis Police Department received a call from the male, claiming he was armed and intended to “shoot everyone” he encountered inside the building.

Officers from the Annapolis Police Department quickly mobilized in response to the threat, forming teams to search the State House. They conducted a thorough search and evacuated all civilians present.

Despite the serious nature of the threat, the building was cleared without any suspect being found.
