Brooklyn Man Arrested in Connection with Queens Subway Metal Pipe Attack

BROOKLYN, NY — The New York City Police Department has announced that 65-year-old Ricky Wilson was arrested on Monday within the 107 Precinct, charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. The charges stem from a violent incident at the Queens Plaza subway station.

On Saturday, February 17, a 31-year-old male was brutally attacked by an assailant wielding a metal pipe, resulting in multiple head lacerations. The perpetrator, now identified as Wilson, fled the scene immediately after the assault.

Emergency Medical Services responded to the incident, transporting the victim to New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in stable condition. Wilson’s arrest marks a pivotal moment in the ongoing investigation into the subway attack.
