Off-Duty NYPD Cop Arrested for Assault in the Bronx

BRONX, NY — An off-duty New York City Police Officer, Justin Sealy, 33, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault in the early hours of Monday. The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the 45th Precinct.

Sealy, who is employed by the NYPD, now faces legal proceedings following the charges. The arrest highlights the department’s commitment to upholding the law, regardless of an individual’s position or status.

According to records obtained from the NYPD, Sealy joined the force in 2015 and has an otherwise clean record as an NYPD officer.
