NEW YORK, NY — The New York City Police Department is reaching out to the public for help in identifying suspects involved in a series of robberies across the 28 and 32 Precincts. The incidents, characterized by violence and theft, have raised concerns within the community.
The first incident took place on Thursday, within the 28 Precinct, where a 30-year-old male food delivery worker was threatened with a knife and robbed of his e-bike, cellphone, and delivery bag by six assailants. Shortly after, a 24-year-old male delivery worker was accosted by three individuals in the 32 Precinct, with one assailant brandishing a knife against him and robbing him of his e-bike, cash, and cellphone.
The violence escalated in another incident within the 32 Precinct, where a 41-year-old male was stabbed in the back by two attackers who attempted to steal his cellphone. In a final reported incident, a 31-year-old male was threatened with a firearm and a knife by three suspects, who then stole his e-bike.
None of the victims sustained serious injuries, except for the individual who was stabbed and is currently in stable condition. The NYPD has released media depicting the suspects and is urging anyone with information to come forward to assist in the investigation.
