Series of Robberies at New York City LensCrafters Stores Under Investigation

NEW YORK, NY – Authorities are searching for individuals connected to a series of grand larcenies at LensCrafters stores within the 1 and 24 precincts. The pattern involves the theft of sunglasses totaling approximately $5,300 in value.

The first incident occurred on Friday at the LensCrafters located at 60 Broad Street, where seven individuals stole sunglasses valued at around $1,200. They left the scene on foot in an unknown direction. A subsequent theft was reported on Monday at a LensCrafters at 2770 Broadway, with four individuals making off with sunglasses worth approximately $4,100.

In both cases, the suspects fled the premises without payment and their directions of escape remain unknown.
