Chris Christie Contemplates Third-Party Run After Exiting GOP Race

TRENTON, NJ – Chris Christie, the former Governor of New Jersey, has opened the possibility of a third-party presidential run, deviating from his prior dismissals. While speaking on “Good Morning America,” Christie, who recently withdrew from the GOP presidential nomination race, refrained from dismissing the idea of running on a No Labels ticket, indicating a decision would require significant discussion with his wife, Mary Pat.

Christie, who has been a prominent critic of Donald Trump within the Republican Party, has not been approached by No Labels to run on their potential ticket.

Christie suggests that a strong Republican candidate could detract from Trump’s support base rather than affect President Joe Biden’s voter base. This statement comes amidst Christie’s warnings about the dangers of a Trump reelection, emphasizing the risk of a “vendetta” term.

During his GOP primary campaign, Christie never broke the 10% milestone in any major election poll and is seen by many as a wildly unpopular candidate.

Christie, who was hyped up by cable news networks such as MSNBC and CNN, would probably not get the same treatment in a race where he could also pull votes from the Democrat candidate, President Joe Biden.
