Employee Assaulted with Broomstick, Soda Bottle at Bronx Business

BRONX, NY – A robbery and assault incident was reported to have occurred at a commercial location at 1238 East Gun Hill Road. On Friday, February 23, at around 4:10 PM, two unidentified males entered the establishment and attacked the victim using a broomstick, mop, and a 2-liter soda bottle.

They stole products valued at approximately $50 and fled the scene in a red and black two-wheeled vehicle with the New York license plate 150AS4, heading north on Givan Avenue.

The victim was left with a laceration to the back of his head.

The first assailant is described as having a medium build and dark complexion, around 5’7” tall and weighing 210 pounds, last seen wearing a camouflage winter hat, black jacket, olive green pants, and sunglasses. The second assailant is described as having a large build and medium complexion, around 5’10” tall and weighing 185 pounds, last seen in a gray head covering, dark hoodie, black vest, tan cargo pants, and black sneakers. Authorities are seeking any information that may lead to the identification and apprehension of the suspects involved.
