Rockland County DA’s Office Engages with Haverstraw Elementary on Career Day

ROCKLAND COUNTY, NY – Career Day at Haverstraw Elementary School welcomed two distinguished guests from the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office. Chief Deirdre Smith and First Assistant District Attorney Kathleen Devlin, an alumna of North Rockland High School, were present to enlighten students about the criminal justice system.

The event offered an in-depth look at the journey to becoming a prosecutor and law enforcement member. Students showed keen interest, seizing the opportunity to ask varied questions about careers in the field. The DA’s office expressed gratitude to Mr. Anderson and Mrs. Beckerly for the invitation and to Selina for her role as tour guide.
