North Bergen Resident Charged with DUI After Multiple Crashes

NORTH BERGEN, NJ – Walter Maldonado-Rodas, a 38-year-old resident of North Bergen, was charged with driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident on 89th Street shortly before 5 p.m. on Friday, March 8. According to North Bergen Police Lt. Eddie Moyano, Maldonado-Rodas refused to provide a breath sample after being involved in crashes.

Before his arrest, the driver exhibited signs of impairment, including urinating himself, which led to the DUI charge.
