Paterson Police Introduce Contact Cards to Foster Community Relations

PATERSON, NJ – In a recent initiative, the Paterson Police Ceasefire Unit announced that all officers are now equipped with contact cards to distribute during their interactions with residents. These cards aim to streamline the process of inquiring about police report statuses, recalling interactions at incident scenes, and nurturing connections between the community and patrolling officers. Residents are encouraged to request these cards when encountering police officers in their neighborhoods, as part of the department’s effort to enhance community engagement.
