Man Charged with Murder Following Fatal Shooting in Annandale

ANNANDALE, VA – Tylen Jennings, 30, faces murder and additional charges after the deadly shooting of Anesha Isaacs in Annandale. Isaacs succumbed to her injuries at the hospital after being discovered with multiple gunshot wounds.

The incident unfolded near the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, on the 3200 block of Woodburn Road around 4:45 p.m. Isaacs had called 911, reporting that Jennings was obstructing her departure by blocking her vehicle with his. During the call, she informed the dispatcher that Jennings was wanted and that she had an active protective order against him. Before law enforcement could reach the scene, Jennings shot Isaacs and fled.

Upon their arrival, officers found Isaacs and urgently transported her to the hospital, where she was declared deceased. Law enforcement managed to identify Jennings’ vehicle and issued a Be On the Lookout (BOLO) alert. His vehicle was later detected by a License Plate Reader as it headed towards Maryland.

Prince George’s County Police Department officers apprehended Jennings in Maryland, swiftly responding to the alert and strategically intercepting his anticipated route.
