Armed Robbery Reported in Glen Burnie

GLEN BURNIE, MD – A robbery incident occurred on March 20, in the vicinity of Newport Road and Stewart Avenue, Glen Burnie, at around 3:30 p.m. An 18-year-old male reported being accosted by three acquaintances while seated on a bench.

During the encounter, one assailant brandished a handgun at him, and another pressed what was believed to be a handgun against his side. The perpetrators then fled with the victim’s money.

Despite a thorough search by responding officers, the suspects remain at large. Western District detectives are actively investigating the case and encourage anyone with information to come forward. Tips can be directed to 410-222-6155 or anonymously via the Tip Line at 410-222-4700.
