Pedestrian Seriously Injured in Gloucester Township Crash

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ – A pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in Gloucester Township, prompting a significant emergency response.

The incident occurred around 7:20 p.m. on March 19, at the intersection of College Drive and Erial Road. Emergency services transported the victim to Cooper Hospital, where they were listed in serious but stable condition. The identity of the victim has been withheld pending further investigation and notification of kin.

The driver involved in the accident remained at the scene and was reported to be uninjured. Traffic on College Drive eastbound was disrupted for approximately two and a half hours to facilitate an investigation by the Gloucester Township Police Serious Crash Investigation Team. Support at the scene was provided by Gloucester Township Fire District 85, Inspira EMS, and Virtua Medics. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
