Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section seek public help in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery on February 5, 2024, in the 11900 block of Claridge Road in Silver Spring.
According to investigators, around 6:30 p.m., the victim alighted from the Ride-On Bus at the Claridge Road and Claridge Court stop. Upon disembarking, a male suspect exiting the bus engaged the victim briefly before pushing her to the ground, snatching her backpack, and fleeing the scene.
Surveillance footage captured the incident and the suspect.
The suspect is described as a Black male aged between 15 and 19, wearing a black jacket with fur-lined hood, black pants, and white and red sneakers.
