Teen Arrives at Queens Hospital With Gunshot Wound to Chest

NEW YORK, NY – Police were called to the scene of a shooting at NYC Health and Hospitals/Queens located at 82-68 164 Street, in the 107 Precinct area, following a 911 call received at approximately 10:28 PM. Upon arrival, officers were informed by hospital staff that a 19-year-old male had arrived at the facility with a life-threatening gunshot wound to the chest, having been transported there by private means.

The young man was later pronounced dead. As of now, no suspects have been apprehended in connection with the shooting, and the investigation is actively continuing.

The identity of the victim has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
