DOVER, DE – Delaware State Police have detained 46-year-old Devin Glover of Dover for serious drug-related charges following a car chase on Friday night. Glover’s vehicle, identified as a black Jeep Grand Cherokee, was spotted without its headlights or taillights on, leading to a pursuit that began on President Drive near Capitol Park.

The pursuit escalated when Glover, failing to comply with a traffic stop, accelerated and drove recklessly, eventually crashing into a house on N. Governors Boulevard. Despite initial resistance, Glover was apprehended after a short foot chase. Searches conducted subsequently revealed Glover was in possession of significant quantities of marijuana, crack cocaine, psilocybin mushrooms, MDMA, and cash believed to be from drug sales.

Remarkably, the collision did not result in injuries to the homeowner. Glover, found to have a suspended driver’s license and an existing arrest warrant, was processed at Troop 3. He was charged with multiple felonies and misdemeanors, then released on a $1,202 secured bond after arraignment at Justice of the Peace Court 7.
