Newark Police Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Suspects of Early Morning Robbery

NEWARK, NJ – Detectives are calling for public assistance in identifying three suspects involved in a robbery that occurred in the early hours of Sunday, March 3.

The incident unfolded around 2:55 a.m., when a victim was accosted and robbed by three individuals in the vicinity of Bloomfield Avenue and Webster Street. Following the robbery, the assailants were seen fleeing west on Bloomfield Avenue.

The first suspect is described as wearing a gray baseball cap, entirely in black clothing, and white sneakers. The second suspect had on a black hooded sweatshirt, black Adidas pants, and light-colored sneakers. The third individual was noted for wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, light-colored pants, and white sneakers.

Investigators are urging anyone with information regarding the suspects or the robbery to come forward to aid in the swift identification and apprehension of those responsible.
