Teens Injured in Serious Two-Car Collision in Deptford

DEPTFORD, NJ – A severe traffic accident involving two vehicles at the intersection of Hurffville Road and Deptford Center Road resulted in serious injuries late Monday evening, as reported by Deptford police.

A vehicle driven by a 17-year-old boy from Gibbstown, with a girl from Washington Township (Gloucester County) as a passenger, was involved in the incident just after 8 p.m.

The young driver sustained serious injuries and was transported to Cooper University Hospital for treatment. The second vehicle’s driver, a 27-year-old woman from Deptford, received medical attention at Jefferson Hospital in Washington Township. The Deptford Township Police Department’s Crash Investigation Unit is actively investigating the collision. Authorities are calling for anyone with information to contact Cpl.
