Hyattsville Resident Arrested for Rockville Home Invasion

ROCKVILLE, MD – A Hyattsville man has been apprehended and charged in connection with a home invasion robbery in Rockville. The Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes Division announced the arrest of 33-year-old Jaron Dante Ray.

The robbery occurred on Key West Avenue in Rockville on Monday, July 10, 2023. Investigators were able to identify Ray as a suspect in the incident.

An arrest warrant was issued for Ray on Thursday, February 29, 2024. He faces charges including first-degree assault, armed robbery, theft, and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

Ray was arrested on Tuesday, March 12, 2024, and has since been detained at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit without the option for bond.
