Traffic Stop Ends With Arrest for Illegal Gun

BALTIMORE, MD—Early Sunday morning, the Baltimore Police Department’s Central District Action Team officers conducted a traffic stop that resulted in an arrest and the seizure of illegal property. The incident involved a 31-year-old male whose vehicle was involved in two separate single-vehicle crashes on I-83 North at mile marker 6.

Following the crashes, the vehicle was stopped at approximately 12:29 AM, leading to the discovery of the violation. The suspect was then transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility, where charges were filed against him.

The Baltimore Police Department has highlighted the importance of this arrest in their ongoing efforts to combat illegal handgun possession in the city.
